The amount of miles you run determines how quickly you advance up the pay scale! Company drivers at Prime receive a mileage rate increase based on the number of miles driven.  The mileage accumulates from the driver's first load (it is possible to get some credit for miles driven before driving for Prime), and of course includes all authorized loaded and empty miles.
